SEPTEMBER 1ST to 27TH

One lane, Birkenhead Ave from Mokoia Road to Onewa Road will be closed for the first 2 weeks of September 2024 from 2-13 September. Second lane, Birkenhead Ave from Onewa Road to Mokoia Road will be closed for the second 2 weeks of September 2024, from 16-27 September. There will be temporary bus stops, and private off-road carparks will still be accessible with help from an on site TMS controller.

There are no anticipated power disruptions aside from to the street lights while they are being worked on, other power should not be impacted.

Our level of road lighting will be improved to international best practice and our unique, quirky globe lights that are part of our Village personality will be refurbished for another 40 years to come and will be a consistent colour quality.
