"We have been a Christian presence in the area of Birkenhead since 1911. Rooted in the Anglican tradition we are always striving to be faithful to our Prayer Book heritage as well as exploring new ways of being a worshipping community. We are a Church that has witnessed baptisms, weddings and funerals for generations and continue to offer these Sacraments and Rites to the community. Citizens Advice Bureau

Citizens Advice Bureau

At the Birkenhead Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) there are some fantastic resources that would be very useful to businesses.  Our experience shows that businesses can have a number of issues which are either directly related to running the business or are associated with actually being an employer.

From a business perspective the Birkenhead CAB can help with access to good information on the services provided by the Business Mentor programme which is an invaluable resource for businesses to get some advice on how to progress and grow their business.  We also have information on how to prepare for and what to expect at the disputes tribunal.  It can be very daunting to face a disputes tribunal hearing and these resources can make all the difference.

As an employer particularly in a smaller business it often falls to the employer to assist employees with personal issues.  Where one employee is struggling through a personal issue it can affect their work performance and this in turn can affect the function of the business as a whole.  However again there is help at hand at the Birkenhead CAB!  We have resources to assist people with parenting, separation, parenting through separation, immigration, visa issues and a variety of other personal issues.

We also have resources on how to start a business on the steps and actions that need to be worked through to establish your business.

Consider coming in to see us, no problem is too small or large.  We are sure our free and confidential service can help you!
