Swing dancing is a group of partner dances that originated in the 1920s and became popular in the 1930s and 1940s, often associated with jazz music and the swing era. It includes a variety of styles, such as:

  1. Lindy Hop - A lively dance characterized by its energetic jumps and swings.
  2. East Coast Swing - A simplified version of the Lindy Hop, typically easier for beginners.
  3. West Coast Swing - A more relaxed and smooth style that allows for improvisation.

Swing dancing features syncopated steps, rhythmic movements, and often a playful interaction between partners. It emphasizes improvisation, connection, and creativity, making it a fun and engaging form of social dance.
